Frederic N. Gaines, Senior Partner of Gaines, Solomon Law Group, LLP, represents a broad range of foreign and domestic based clients in the area of Entertainment law, including advising clients respecting the development, production, financing, and distribution of motion pictures, television movies and series, home video and interactive projects. Mr. Gaines also advises clients in the areas of copyright and other intellectual property matters, literary publishing, merchandising, licensing, music recording and music publishing as well as entertainment lending and financing and related matters.
Mr. Gaines has extensive experience in the acquisition and sale of film libraries and other entertainment assets. Mr. Gaines has represented independent producers, financiers, and distributors in the entertainment industry and a variety of major talent, including “A level” actors, writers, directors and celebrities. Mr. Gaines has regularly spoken at entertainment industry seminars and meetings in the U.S., Canada, Australia, France and elsewhere.
