Phil Holland works in Gipson Hoffman & Pancione’s Entertainment & Finance practice area, concentrating on entertainment-related transactions, including single motion picture production financing, equity investments, film library acquisitions and financings, and working capital revolving credit facilities.

Phil has more than twenty years of experience as a paralegal working with domestic and international banks, financiers, equity investors, borrowers, and completion guarantors in various lending and financing transactions.  Prior to joining GHP, he was an entertainment paralegal in the Century City office of Loeb & Loeb LLP.  Prior to that, he worked as a contracts administrator for a motion picture completion guarantor.

Phil was born in England and was raised in the United States.  He traveled extensively with his family while growing up, and he has lived in a wide variety of cities, including Boston, Denver, Phoenix, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Melbourne, Australia.

Phil received a B.A. in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Washington’s Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies.  He also attended graduate school at Washington and was awarded a scholarship to study Serbo-Croatian.
