Stephen Kirschenbaum is an attorney in Gipson Hoffman & Pancione’s Trusts & Estates practice area.  He provides counsel across a wide array of industries in traditional estate planning and corporate matters.  Steve focuses his practice on the full spectrum of his clients’ estate planning needs and represents individuals and families who own and operate a diverse range of businesses. He assists clients with creating tailored plans that best protect and distribute their assets to attain not only the legal realities of their wishes but their spirit and context as well.

In that regard, Steve frequently works with clients utilizing a variety of tools to aid in business succession planning to transition the ownership, management, and distribution of a family business from first-generation business owners to the next generation of family business operators. He provides an assortment of services, including estate planning and administration, later-life or longevity planning, and business succession planning, as well as assistance with charitable planning and establishing or refining family foundations.

Prior to joining GHP, Steve served as an attorney at a law firm in midtown Manhattan. While in New York, he assisted clients with employment-based and family-based nonimmigrant and immigrant matters, including employment petitions for immigrant employees, intracompany transferees, treaty investors, specialty workers, and individuals with extraordinary ability. His clients included companies in the advertising, entertainment, media, investment, health care, software, technology, and real estate industries, as well as nonprofit organizations.
