Ms. Roth maintains a full-service commercial and residential real estate practice and is best known for her unique residential real estate expertise, handling complex transactions and disputes.  She regularly closes seven-figure and eight-figure residential purchases and sales, often forming privacy and confidentiality trusts for her high-profile, high-net-worth clients.  Her expertise also includes multimillion-dollar residential construction projects, title matters and title insurance, landlord-tenant issues and leasing, surveys, boundary disputes, easements, section 1031 exchange matters (including “drop and swap” transactions), and real estate financing.

Ms. Roth’s business practice also includes structuring and advising corporations and limited liability companies and partnerships; developing equity and debt structures; and structuring rights deals, executive and staff employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.  Her business entertainment practice has included bank and nontraditional financing for domestic and international productions, advising on guild issues related to financing; structuring back-end, deferral, and other contingent compensation arrangements, as well as talent and writer agreements; acquisition of intellectual property; and licensing.

Excellence, experience, responsiveness, and discretion are the hallmarks of her practice, along with a practical, results-oriented approach to solving problems that comes from a focus on and sensitivity to her clients’ goals and business objectives. Ms. Roth represents individuals, families, and privately- and publicly-owned companies in many industries, often acting as outside general counsel, and has particularly deep roots representing entertainment clients in their real estate and corporate legal matters.

Ms. Roth is a former partner at the boutique entertainment law firm of Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal LaViolette Feldman Schenkman & Goodman, LLP in the Corporate Department, where she developed her unique practice.  She began her career as an associate in the Real Estate Department at the law firm Morrison & Foerster, LLP.
